Well warranted. Magic is part owner of the Lakers, and obviously a very big part of the organization, and can say whatever the hell he wants. I wish Jerry Buss would get in their faces a little, kind of like Mark Cuban. He's out there signing off his checkbook to pay the luxury tax to keep the guys together, yet they show up with that kind of effort? If these guys were my employees I'd take that as a slap in the face. You may not win every game, but coming out like they did yesterday was completely, utterly, unacceptable. Jerry must be very self restraining to keep his cool after such a horrid performance.

Fuck that. Magic always trashes the Lakers. He talks more shit on the Lakers than any former Laker I've ever seen.

Jerry don't give a fuck, he is probably fucking some 23 year old bimbo.

I agree with Magic's criticism 9 out of 10 times. I agree with him on bashing the Lakers after a terrible beat down.

I know we always blame the players, but what about the coaching staff? Kurt Rambis is the self-proclaimed "defensive coordinator" of the Lakers staff. Our defense sucks on a nightly basis, obviously he's not getting his point across and teaching these guys how to play with any pride on the defensive end. Brian Shaw is the shooting coach, but our shooting has been abysmal in the losses. Fisher, Sasha etc. can't hit wide open looks and our free throw shooting has also hurt us in this series.

Phil Jackson's rotations and matchups don't make sense to most of us. Having Luke Walton matchup against Ron Artest or Carl Landry is asking for trouble. The fact Houston doesn't even guard him on offense is embarrassing. They are pleading for the ball to find Luke by aggressively doubling off him on every possession.

How about also getting on his guys to attack the rim more and run the offense through Gasol with ball movement towards the rim and not outside? I don't want to see Kobe & Gasol on the bench at the same time either. When those guys are both out of the game our offense looks lost and doesn't have a scorer to bail them out.
