    Here is a recap

    We like our team

We want to push the pace

    Bayless is a hard worker

Travis did great in the playoffs

    We like Steve Blake

We are going to be aggressive on draft day

Nate did an outstanding job with this young team

We are right where we want to be

We are looking at guys who fit our culture

We will be active in free agency, but that doesn't mean we will neccessarily add a player because we like our team.

The fans of Portland have supported us all year

The Darius Miles situation is behind us

I read your "recap" and laughed. Hmmm, there's a summary of everything we've heard in the past year.

Anybody want to guess the over/under on the number of times he mentions the words, "culture", "aggressive", and/or "great kid"

A very different interview. Did not really talk about Portland much - mostly about general issues relating to the current playoffs and the like:

Cuban - emotional game - what is said is hyped up, nerves are exposed - it's about the fan experience

Are we reaching a point where PGs are more important than bigs?
    - KP - to win at the highest level - you have to have some kind of length and the ability to hold position and get the rebounds - teams that are winning the rebounding wars are mostly winning in the playoffs - but it is hard to argue that great point guards are very important.
    - Pick and Roll - LMA can guard on the perimeter about as good as any good in the league.
    - Nuggets vs. Lakers - Denver's offensive fire powre is as good as anyone's. Could be a clash of styles. If the Nuggets continue to shoot the way we do now - hard to argue against them

You know that funny about the Nugz. They are playing pretty good. But I still can see the "knucklehead" part of the team bare it's head at times during the game. Like last night when for several posessions in a row for some reason JR Smith was playing PG and stinking it up. Jackin up bad shots. Carmello throwing a blow at a reserve and almost getting ejected. See that is the problem with knucklheads. You can't take the knucklehead out of a knucklehead. It is built in.

Well lets see if you can put it together

At the trade deadline: We are not ready to give up on Outlaw yet. We want to see how he does in the playoffs.

Today's Recap: Outlaw did great in the playoffs.

No, Outlaw fucking stunk in the playoffs. Period. What I am seeing from KP seems to indicate to me, that he is too loyal to the guys he has here, and that has me worried. He may be speaking doublespeak, but for some reason, I don't think so. If the GM of the team is too loyal to the players, and is unwilling to make a move because of it, the Blazers may never make that move needed to get them into a position to compete at the highest level, and they will be stuck as they are.

Sorry Hasoos, I was totally joking. I thought everyone would have gotten that. I have no idea what he said because I didn't listen to it.

In all fairness, I heard KP say exactly that in an interview. That is not a joke.

In any KP interview there is a good chance of him saying that.
