Wow... Kobe is fucking cold blooded.

Drew finally doing what he's supposed to do. Dominate these midgets!!!

Everyone playing well, Lakers putting on an absolute demolition.

Oh, so this is what happens when they try.

Houston got up early, and i said "This games over, Lakers by 15+ at end of game". Game 6 will be Lakers as well. I love this Houston team but to many losses.

Rockets did an unfortunate thing of waking up the Lakers.

Oh, so this is what happens when they try.

If the Rockets were smart they would've allowed the Lakers back in earlier so we wouldn't have been so embarrassed. Embarrassing our asses on Sunday actually motivated us to play hard today (that is actually possible for the Lakers!). Had it been closer, Lakers probably still come out with 50% effort today and Rockets have a chance. Unless the Lakers decide to take a nap at half time and start thinking about what's on TV later tonight, I fully expect this to be a full on blowout. Hopefully those guys can keep focused for another 24 minutes, which is not asking for much, but a seemingly impossible feat for them.

    Farmar - Brown

I don't know why Phil continues to play him. He gets burnt all the time. Too much respect for veterans I guess.

    LMAO!!!

Trevor just made the most ridiculous failed dunk attempt ever. Epic.

Mamba was right. This game is a complete blowout, utter destruction.

This is what happens when ADJUSTMENTS are made. Because Lakers have tried the past 4 games to win.

So they came into the game not wanting to win?

Re: Round 2: Lakers vs. Rockets Series Thread (Series tied 2-2)

They came into the game expecting a win because of talent alone and didn't even try, or put in any effort.

You're kidding yourself if you think the energy tonight is anywhere near comparable to the energy we showed on Sunday.

Re: Round 2: Lakers vs. Rockets Series Thread (Series tied 2-2)

You said they didn't try. Obviously the energy is different. Lakers have tried to win the past 4 games and failed 2 times. When Lakers lose, "Lakers didn't try" .. when they win "So this is what happens when they try"

Thats not how it works, they tried but failed because of bad execution. They tried again today and succeeded because of a good game plan and exploitation of Rockets size.

Game 1 and Game 4, Rockets WON. Not that Lakers didn't try.

When I say TRY, I mean putting in EFFORT. Wow, is it that hard to understand what I'm saying? Sorry this isn't English, I apologize for not using the correct diction.

    So in other words,

"This is what happens when they actually play with effort"

    Happy?
