Lakers I laugh because knowing this team, we could come out and blow them out by 50 or the game could be over by the 2nd quarter and they're packing for Denver.
If the Lakers don't win.... I don't know what I am going to do...$30... and fail. =( Then if we win, I say Denver is easy and if we can actually play to full strength, easy series with Cavs.
It's funny how the Nuggets got easy matchups and simply cruised their way to the Conference Finals without having to put in much effort. They'll realize what the actual Western Conference is about when they face Rockets/Lakers. Goodluck to both teams, but ofcourse, we'll take you guys
This series has been all about momentum shifts, now it goes back to LA and momentum shifts back to Lakers. So going with that theory and the fact Lakers are SUPPOSE to win as 1st seed, I think they'll do the job. But as a Rockets fan, I've been surprised by our teams performance and their heart.. I'll go with Rockets since they play like they want it more....and ofcourse, they're my team
Nice call on Fisher BasX. I'm taking LA by about ten points. We need some freaking heart though, fools. :[
PJAX needs to beat up everyone after that loss. I know we'll prevail, but they need to figure it out soon. No way we win a title playing the way we did against an injured riddled Rocket team. If Yao and T were healthy and the Lakers played like this, they'd get swept.
what im finding confusing is that some of you ive noticed are so certain that the lakers will win, "i KNOW the lakers will take it". how do you know this? we have repeatedly showed how poor we can play sometimes, and some here in the forum are making comments like, ive lost all hope in this team, yet then you say i knoiw they'll win, its confusing for me, maybe thats just me though, i thought maybe someone would feel the same way. anyway, i think the lakers will win, LOL. well i hope they do, i still think we are a great team, i havent lost any hope for the team and still beleive we can win it all. i also think that these guys need more than just a days rest, especially fisher, he just cannot keep up with the speed of gaurding the rockets guards. kobe will most likely pull out either a great performance next game, or he will fault under the pressure and have a bad game. meh, i think we'll pull it out, but there still a bit of doubt from all of us to be honest.
true that. but what im gatting at is the contradictory posts made by some members which make their additions to the overall conversation confusing, one minute they are all down and out, saying they have lost hope, the next they are optimistic, its a little inconsistant, i dont really mind to tell you the truth as i am sure all of us are a bit like that, i was just pointing it out as ive noticed it more and more in this series. atleast we are not as inconsistant as the lakers, wait that isnt funny at all, thats just sad, agh! im still remaining optimistic, as i think it helps to be that way, but this series has really tested the lakers and their fans, especially here in S2, i guess its what you want in playoff basketball, more drama, more entertainment value etc. its made me really nervous about game 7, i dont think ill be able to watch, that is if they show it on tv here, which is unlikely.
Underdogs since day one bro. No one expected us to even beat the Blazers. Even ESPN predicted for the Rockets to lose to the Blazers in 6. They predicted us to lose in 5 to the Lakers. Just shows you the heart and effort the Rockets are willing to put in. I'm still thinking what we could've done with a healthy Tmac, Yao, and Mutombo.
If the Lakers lose in game 7............ they honestly might lose a die hard fan right here. I fight for them all the time here in Houston, but they arent giving me much ammo to go to war with. They dont win.... Im burning my Lakers shit.
Lakers in 1 I'll still be a Laker fan win or lose. If they lose I'll root for Houston to win the title. I just don't want to see the Eastern conference win again.
