I remember how pumped I was to watch this game and see Oden for the first time. My eyes were literally glued to him the entire game, and he played very well in limited mintues. 13 points in 19 minutes if I remember right. I was excited. Too bad he went on to have a pretty disappointing rookie season.

That actually makes the season seem kind of disappointing :)

No doubt. He was ready for *THE* breakout season of his career, and probably would have put all of the SF worries of Blazer fans to rest. It's too bad some people have already written him off, then again, they were probably ones that were never fans of his to begin with, so whatever. Nate and KP will make the judgment about his ability to start at the beginning of next season.

    Best preseason game ever.

Everyone was so pumped playoff-style just to see our team for the first time this year, knowing we had something special. The Kings didn't know what hit them, wondering wth is up with Portland with a soldout crowd, and people chanting "De-Fense!" and on their feet. It was a surreal experience being in the RG that night.

The prospects of a Rudy/Roy/Webster lineup are interesting. If Rudy can run the P&R with some kind of proficiency, he should move over to PG.

Rudy and Martell chemistry looked amazing, hope it carries over.

Oden looks infinitely quicker now than he did then... yet less productive. Hurray for pre-season King games.

Looks like a different Oden, and I think that was Rudy's best overall game of the season. He never really matched that kind of passing during the regular season.
