Him being in the paint has been totally disrupting the Rocket's offense. They have missed/botched multiple shots in the paint because of his presence.

As well other Lakers players don't have to clog the paint and the Rockets aren't getting open shots on the perimeter.

Rockets vs. Lakers with Bynum = no chance.

Yup, Drew is a difference maker, if he can stay out of foul trouble that is. Glad to see him playing well today, hopefully he can continue this play.

I actually think Drew is going to be the biggest key to us winning the title this year. We need him to continue to play big, that way we deter people from cutting to the hoop and getting easy baskets.

Would Bynum have been a difference maker if Yao Ming was playing? So did he become a difference maker all of a sudden after shooting over a 6'6'' Chuck Hayes?

Bynum wasn't bad in Game 1, got better on D even against Yao later on I thought.

Bynum would have still been a difference maker if Yao was around, maybe an even bigger one. He's more than capable of guarding Yao. He's plenty strong enough and at least has enough length to bother his shot.

Plus, regardless of who he's guarding, he's still a big body in the paint who has the ability to alter any shot that comes near the hoop.

Didn't see too much of that in the first 3 games when Yao was there

That's because Bynum just wasn't playing well. It wasn't anything Yao was doing, and that was rather apparent in the fact that he did go 3 games this series without scoring.

Honestly, I think Houston's chances of beating the Lakers were greater W/O Yao.
