Heard it on the way into work. The Padres and White Sox have agreed to the deal and are waiting for Peavy to approve it. The Padres get two prospects including Chicago's top left-hander in the deal.
Pretty interesting move this early in the year if it's true. Peavy is still a good pitcher but he's not as dominant as people think.
Do the White Sox have a terrible pitcher's park? I heard that factored into the equation too. I'd probably reject most trades if I was a player, they sound inconvenient unless I need to win something or find a better town.
