We'll probably split in Denver, end up winning the series in 6.

Yea, I was surprized Bynum didn't play more. Just cut some of Odom's minutes a bit more, or Walton.

Unless they are trying to not overplay Bynum in fear of re-injury.

Although I was impressed by Ariza's tenacity, he definitely is playing his ass off on defense.

Weirdly enough this reminds me of how the 1991-1992 Bulls played in the playoffs a bit.

They won 67 games that year, but they choked a loss at home to the Cavs (Got CRUSHED in Game 2 in Chicago by a pretty wide margin), then lost in overtime 115-104 to the Blazers in the following series in the Finals, Game 2 again in Chicago.

Boy oh boy, how many times have we seen this shit happen.

And why the FUCK is Sasha getting ANY playing time right now? If the Lakers want to win the title, they'll put Farmar at the 1, Shannon at the 2, and Kobe at the 3, and let Sasha warm up the bench.

How do the refs miss that call on JR Smith? Totally inexcusable man, and I'm not even one to bitch about the refs! But when all three refs are concentrating on one jump ball possession, that SHOULD not be missed. It costed us the game in my opinion. It's not responsible for our loss, but still.

Great game by Kobe tonight, why the hell didn't the Lakers give it to him more in the clutch? Sigh...we're still fine, but stupid mistakes like this are so frustrating.

Like others have said, Phil giving Fisher all these minutes is unbelievable.

I think part of the reason they missed it, is because Gasol didn't get the ball when everyone expected he would. He jumped up, and didn't get the ball until he was back on the ground.

It was a bad call, not sure if JR Smith cutting across affected the play though.

Another terrible call I thought was Nene getting called for a blocking foul when Gasol had his elbow out and went right into Nene's chest. It was easily a charge.

No. They aren't scared. Phil is stubborn. Earlier in the year he said he was going to ride what got him to the Finals last year, there this year. Odom, Gasol, and Kobe.

    No Bynum.

God that is stupid. Bynum is an anchor on defense, he doesn't have to stick to his man as much as Gasol and patrols the paint more. He also is a lot harder to deal with (boxing out) on the offensive end.

And its not like Playing Bynum 30 mpg, means that Gasol can't play 40 and Odom 30 if he wanted to.

Don't tell me, tell Phil. He is stubborn. 9 rings will do that to you, I guess.

Has Bynum signed an extension with the Lakers yet? If he hasn't I'm guessing they are limiting his minutes to get a better contract the next 6 years.

If he has signed an extension and is healthy, then I'm seriously questioning Phil's sanity.

Phil is senile. He is fucking senile. He is too stubborn to change his ways. It got him 9 rings. (MJ, Kobe, and Shaq got him 9 rings).

    I'm disgusted right now.

Re: WCF: Lakers vs. Nuggets (Series tied 1-1)

Kobe summed up the game best. The Nuggets won the free throw contest. The teams combined for 72 free throws, the Nuggets made 29 and the Lakers made 27. Stat wise this game was very even and the Lakers appeared to lose the game when they gave up the 14 point lead. Linas Kleiza kept Denver in the game with big threes all night long.

I expected this series to be tied 1-1 heading into Denver, and I still anticipate this going 7 games with the Lakers winning.

I'm not sure what to say about him. No one asked him about Andrew during the post game interview. I wanted to hear what he had to say about not using him in the 2nd half. Was it a health issue? Was it disciplinary? Is he saving him for more minutes in Denver?

I think PJax takes a lot of risks with his rotations and isn't making in-game adjustments to counter Denver. He does a great job of adjusting game to game, but isn't very flexible once a team counters what he does.

Last night Denver added another shooter on the floor in Kleiza and had four scorers out there around Melo most of the night to punish the Lakers from double teaming. If Kleiza is hitting his shots you have to spot double teaming off him and force someone else to beat you.

In the final quarter Denver got a handful of offensive rebounds that really put this game away for them. Those second chance opportunities killed us. I'd like to think if Drew is out there Denver doesn't get those offensive boards.
