Well, i guess that's true. No one beats out Air Smush. lol

But yeah, i agree that Shannon really needs to get more minutes. He almost hasn't missed any corner 3 at all. And his drives to the hoop don't make me nervous.

Personally I think Fisher with a bench role is worse than him starting. Just because he isn't a guy who will create his own shot like Farmar, and when Kobe is on the bench they need a guy who can if needed create his own offense like Farmar or Brown.

Fisher doesn't require the ball to be effective, and with Kobe and Bynum creating looks, he is better as a starter.

I haven't seen much of Brown, so I don't know how much of a pure shooter he is.

I would say start him, but play him only 20 mpg.

The truth is that we have the right amount of players I think, to completely get him off our rotation. Brown's defense is what makes me always trust him even in a slump, it isn't his ability to create a shot. If we need to create a shot we can always play Farmar and Fish together since Derek is a liability there. But we should just opt to go to the post, we always have two competent big dudes on the court. Pau or Odom can distribute.

I think normally I'd agree with you, but with this team I am worried about us starting slow. Fish has been playing just above Sasha level these last few weeks, which is frightening to me.

It would be something like, Shannon plays the first 14-16 minutes of the game (Pau Gasol already does this for us in a large amount of games, Shannon has even more gas left for such a tactic), Kobe is benched at the start of the second quarter so Shannon shifts to the 2 guard and Farm comes in at the one. Kobe can them come back in and give Shannon a break.

Odom is also underutilized when Bynum gets the right amount of minutes, he should play a bit more SF and Trevor should shift to the two guard if that instance occurs. Thus we don't even have to deal with Fisher, or at most we always have that creator on the bench that we need and Fish gets his minutes split between him and Farm backing up Shannon.

I think that's because of fatigue, and how much he played in the regular season.

I don't agree with completely taking him out of the rotation. He's been playing like shit lately because he's tired. Throughout the season, if we limit his minutes, he's more than capable of being a rotational player. I have more faith in him than I do with Jordan.

Yeah I have no problem with him and Jordan fighting it out for bench minutes, I'm with ya there.
