The Massacre vs. Professor X has been promoted to the main card. It should be a good fight but Barry/Hague would've been a better choice, I reckon.

    Weigh-in results:

    MAIN CARD:
Rashad Evans (205) Vs. Lyoto Machida (204)
Matt Hughes (170) Vs. Matt Serra (171)
Dan Miller (185) Vs. Chael Sonnen (186)
Sean Sherk (156) Vs. Frank Edgar (155)
    PRELIMINARY FIGHTS:
Brock Larson (171) Vs. Mike Pyle (172)*
Pat Barry (237) Vs. Tim Hague (263)
Phillipe Nover (156) Vs. Kyle Bradley (156)
Yoshiyuki Yoshida (171) Vs. Brandon Wolff (170)
Dave Kaplan (156) Vs. George Roop (154)

Mike Pyle didn't make weight but because he was a last minute sub, he won't be punished and the fight will go on as planned. Larson should knock him the fuggout anyways.

Can't wait to finally see what Nover has... been waiting to see what he can do for a while since TUF 8 ended.

Supposedly the reason Yves Lavigne was being booed so badly was that the Phillipe Nover stoppage was no good.

I'm not certain, but I think the bonuses were $60k and they went to Hughes/Serra (FOTN), Machida (KO), and Larson (Sub).

The press conference is live here: http://www.ufc.com/multicast/

Sounds likely Machida/Jackson will be the coaches on the next season of TUF and will fight late summer/early spring.

Has anyone heard what Yoda's/Rashad's game plan was?

Rashad didn't look like he even had a game plan to be completely honest with you.

He didn't attack, he didn't try to take Machida down, he literally did nothing for the entire first round, and landed hardly a few strikes in the second round.

That's similar to his first round with Liddell, I think. He tried to make Machida the attacker. The problem was that Machida lept in and out of range when he attacked, landing good punches and kicks in the process, whereas Evans was left swinging at air when he tried to counter.

Yea, watch Rashad vs. Liddell. The first round was pretty similar in regard to Rashad's gameplan. He was very passive, staying fresh and standing at a distance. He wanted for Machida to get frustrated and become the aggressor, and then if Rashad counters with power and still has fresh arms.

However early on, Loyoto used feints and kicks, and was still picking his spots.

Rampage is going to get beat the fuck down, I think. Machida is going to have a field day with them kicks to the leg.
