Holy crap, I didn't expect Machida to pwn Rashad like that. I really thought that Rashad and Greg Jackson would find some way to beat Machida.

As well, I'm surprized Hughes didn't get finished in the first round after that headbutt/punch to the back of the head.

Gotta admit I got a little excited when I thought Serra had hit Hughes and wobbled him and might polish him off. I'm glad the fight didn't end on that, though, considering. After that the fight was predictable with Hughes maintaining top position and burning clock.

Machida looked good. He picks his shots perfectly. Evans got a major reality check (although maybe not as much as Pat Berry). Looks like we'll have Rampage/Machida in a few months but I don't know who Evans' next opponent will be. Maybe Shogun?

Well, I don't think Rashad really got all that much of a reality check, he still is an elite LHW, with good wrestling and striking. I think it might be possible for him to even fight at MW.

Pat Barry however got a reality check, and probably needed one. Even if you were to have say, phenominal kickboxing skills, you can't survive with that alone.

Barry will probably move down to LHW. I guess I said that about Rashad as well because Rashad has been a cocky SOB in the past and this will probably help his career more than hurt it.
