Seriously, where has he been after the Utah series? Did he decide to just can it in already? He was pretty much a non-factor in the Houston series and got man handled by Scola. And against Denver he has been pretty much MIA. So far he is 1-8 off the bench, 4 points, 4 boards, 2 TO, 3 fouls. Whup-dee-doo. I know Trevor hasn't had his best game today, but at least he gives us some effort and tries every game. At one point of the season, I thought LO forgot it's contract year. Then Drew when down and the lightbulb clicked. I guess he thinks he already earned his big paycheck after the Utah series since he sure as hell hasn't been giving us shit lately. Anybody who says they'd rather retain LO over Trevor is just kidding themselves. Maybe if LO actually tried and actually cared there would be an argument. Too bad he is incapable of stepping up. The supposedly leader off the bench isn't giving us anything. Does he even know he's fighting for a spot on the roster? A new contract? Because I know Trevor knows. Lamar's a good guy, but man, is it too much to ask him to step up and play some good basketball? How much longer must we wait for him to perform at the level he is capable of? Coming off the bench for this team, with his talent, he should be a candidate for 6th man of the year. He looks nothing more than a scrub lately.
LO certainly has sucked up the place now. Our bench looks like thin-pieces of biscuits in terms of production. >_<
Back could be an issue, I forgot about that, but regardless he just seems disinterested out there. I mean, he certainly doesn't make any effort to hustle. Him missing routine shots doesn't help his cause either. He needs to step up though, we need him.
He played like Sasha today, but we know Lamar has all the tools I feel better about him at home. I just want to see the "Machine" get less time if anything, today encouraged me though seeing Brown at the end with our guys instead of Sasha or Fish. I'm not sure if that will always be the case but the dude has earned it.
Fuck Lamar. He is garbage, has always been garbage, and will continue to be garbage. He'll bust out a 15-14-7 game soon and we'll all love him again, but then he'll suck after that...like always. Let him fucking walk this off-season.
If LO walks, who do we get as a replacement? That's the problem. I wonder what options we can realistically obtain, because if he leaves and Drew goes down we are kinda screwed.
Drew will just have to look out for Kobe crashing into his knee. He won't have to worry about Odom's foot being in the way. Odom ain't worth more than the MLE. Ariza > Odom.
