Can Lakers rely on anyone besides Bryant, Gasol?

They've also been able to rely on Ariza. His outside shot has been deadly all postseason. He's also been great on defense.

On a sidenote, I was not aware that so many of our players were shooting such a terrible percentage. Jesus, it makes me wonder how we've got this far.

Sasha is only ranked seventh because of his "defense", I don't know what to make of that.

The only difference between Brown and Fisher are minutes played, I wouldn't say he's tenth.

Yeah and use Andrew please, I don't want to see Powell on the court again.

I don't mind seeing Powell...in garbage time. Otherwise, he has not right to be on the court, not when we have Bynum or Odom who can be on the court.

The Lakers can count on other guys at Staples, but on the road they've been a disaster. Sasha finally hit a few 3's last night. The three pointer he made after missing the technical foul was his best looking one all season. He shot it with the right mechanics and didn't rush into it. If he could just keep shooting with the same type of rhythm he could really be an asset on the court when Denver doubles off him.

From an outsider's view, it looks like the Lakers give up on Gasol on the post too early in the possessions (and Kobe in the post for that matter too.) Maybe the Nuggets are defending better than the Jazz and Rockets but what is really missing from my eyes has been the interior passing between Gasol/Odom/Bynum for easy close in buckets. That was awesome to see during the year and early in the playoffs. That's been entirely gone.

Yeah, in the entire series, I've only seen them do that once.

Ariza has been helpful BIG-TIME. But Odom needs to step up. Bynum needs more PT and so does Brown. Fisher needs to play into the offense and feed Bynum and Pau.
