Well, Rambis is 1st in line for Jackson's job. Just stick around, Kurt.

What would Rambis bring to Laker team if he gets to be the headcoach for us?

Even the Kings turned him down. Do we really want him taking over after PJax leaves?

I don't want Rambis or Shaw, TBH.

I want new blood in here when Phil walks away.

Do you still want the team to run the Triangle offense?

I'd actually prefer a defensive minded coach who doesn't play mind games an makes in game adjustments. A coach who doesn't fuck around with the confidence of a young 21 year old budding super star. A coach who isn't loyal to his veterans to the point where it hurts the team. If that coach doesn't run the triangle, than so be it.

I don't want Kurt Rambis staying in as LA coach. He looks like he doesn't make any adjustments, as you can see at the way people keep decimating our defensive style, and yet, there is not adjustment made by our "Defensive Coordinator".

We have the defensive talent, and we've played championship defense. That isn't on Rambis, that is on the players and Phil for not changing the matchups.

Somewhere, the players have to take blame for being lazy.

Rambis is just an assistant coach.

We've got the talent and the ability to play lock down defense, the players just get lazy. They need motivation at times, and I think that it is the head coach's job to motivate his team.

It's both the coach and the players fault. A good coach can motivate lazy people to play defense or lay down the law and bench guys for not being accountable on the defensive end.

Our players admit their defense is a direct result of their offense. We don't really have those hard-nosed defensive guys on the roster and our guys play with more energy on defense when their shots are falling and they get touches.

I think Rambis would be a great fit for a team looking to rebuild and an owner willing to give him 4 or 5 seasons to build that team into a playoff competitor.

The Lakers will need a proven coach once PJax retires.
