That's where Shogun comes in. Despite having only three fights in the UFC, two of which were poor performances, Shogun is getting first crack at The Dragon.
Depending on the undercard, I'll be at this event. I don't think Shogun deserves this fight, but I think Dana is hoping he can win. Machida's style is a nightmare and you're going to have fighters ducking him a lot. If Shogun wins this fight, you set up a Rampage/Rashad vs. Shogun matchup. That is exciting.
Depending on the undercard?! Must be nice to live so close to all the shows. Affliction, WEC, and the UFC are all putting shows on in Cali. Sucks to live almost 4000kms away!
I actually regret not going to Affliction II. I should've. Yeah, I'm not too interested in Machida/Shogun. I think Machida should school him easily.
