I know it's tough to compare players at different positions, but who will have a better career?I'll post later.
This is kinda hard to say who will have a better career. LaMarcus needs to get strong if he wants to be a great Pf. Same with Rudy he needs to get a lil more stonger. But i cant compare i only seen rudy play about 5 times and LaMarcus 1 time
I say Rudy Gay will have a better career.Hes more athletic and will drive it in at will(at least when I watch him).LaMarcus will have a good future in the league too but Rudy has a slight edge over him.
Rudy Gay has the most potential in this class. He's only 19. He is a good shooter, great attacker, good defender, good rebounder. He can do almost everything. Though, LaMarcus can rebound, block shots, run the fastbreak well, use his athleticism to finish and shoot that little jumper Rudy Gay will be 1 sick player once he develops.

I think once LaMarcus develops in to more of a low post player and stops relying on his 12-15 foot fade away, i see him having an excellent NBA career. Rudy has the athleticism and the 3 point shot but i personally dont see him being anything special for the first few years that he will be in the league......although he might be able to develope in to what the league has the most of....swing men that can score...
Well as far as I know, Aldridge isn't going pro yet. Last I heard is that he wants to stay in college all four years, but you know how that goes.Aldridge will be the better player, he has the size, skills, quickness, and defense needed to be a great player, but he does need to get stronger, and a another year of college or two would be great for him.His numbers while good, would be better if Texas had a real PG that could drive and dish and get him the ball, most of his points come off of rebounds and put backs. But defensively the guy is a beast, and his shot blocking is already very good, it should get better.Gay is athletic and should have a good career too, but not as good as Aldrige if he reaches his potential.
I agree. Texas doesn't incorporate him into the offense nearly enough. All Daniel Gibson wants to do is shoot 3's all day.
Yeah, and if Gibson learned how to pass more often, and become a playmaker instead of a scorer, he'd be a lottery pick too, but as of now, he's not that player.
