Yeah that makes sense. The guy in the room (Canzano) whom KP was speaking to, misinterpreted the quote, then wrote about it in the newspaper, then you read it in the newspaper, and it's YOU that got what KP was saying right.
Once a player is traded from one team to another he becomes, by definition a journeyman, doesn't he? He journeyed from one team to another... Is Billups a journeyman? What about Shaq? Iverson? What KP has not done is trade for a star. I will be surprised if it happens this year as well, but who knows. But, acclaimed or established - as in, someone that has been a bit in the league and contributed - he has certainly done that...
WTF, man? The only thing Canzano reported was that KP said "If you only knew who I was talking about ...". As MM said and I concurred, KP could have been referring to talking about dealing one of the guys on our team that would surprise some people. There are a lot of times where I'd use the "crazy" emoticon, but that ain't one of them. Go outside, get some fresh air, enjoy the NW sunshine. It seems like you need something to take the edge off. -Pop
Must be Zach. Now that he's gone Roy misses him and wants him to come off the bench for some quick points/rebounds.
for the last few years both had a big problem with Rasheed... probably the best player on the only game in town flat wouldn't talk to them. Having long suffered their drivel, I'm sure he had his reasons, but both attacked him almost daily for this. STOMP
Thanks, it is a little hard to keep up with some of the little things like that since I am Blazer fan from AZ. Does Rasheed still live in Ptown.
not sure, but I think he sold his Portland home on the KP quote to Canzano... "Man, seriously, if you only knew who I was talking about"...thats just plain funny. I'm absolutely sure that everyone in the Blazers organization is well aware of what a slimeball Canzano is, no one moreso then KP. It doesn't matter whether he's talking to a scrubs agent or a stars (or even Sheed's), taunting JC with gossip he'll never ever get a scoop on is classic. STOMP
