I don't like this hiring at all. Jordan's another lame duck coach, expect the Sixers to be on the market for another coach in two years, like they always are.
I disagree with this hate you bring to the table Jordan helped Washington be a respectable team despite not having that many great pieces around their core. Philly has quite a bit of talent and more defensive minded players than Washington had during Jordan's stint in Washington. Just get the man someone that can shoot.
I like Jordan, he was basically made into a scapegoat in Washington because his "superstar" has basically missed the last two seasons. Take LeBron from Cleveland and Mike Brown would likely be in the same position. When New Jersey was going to the finals every year, there were plenty of people saying that Eddie Jordan was the guy coming up with the game plan (even though Scott was the head coach). Lets wait and see what happens, but Jordan is not a bad choice.
