Agree. I had previously heard and liked that song, but the scene totally made it a classic for me. I find that for most of these songs that I'm "afraid to admit that i like" always have some sort of story behind them that made me like them. For instance, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRVFfgoIKcg"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRVFfgoIKcg this song is pretty terrible, but I got some pretty cool stories from listening to it at parties and the like.
Since when is Elton John a "guilty pleasure"? I thought he was always considered to be a grade A pop music performer. Did I miss a memo?
This thread made me think of this scene: -Pop
I like Elton John and I'm not afraid to admit it. Granted I like his older stuff more so then his newer stuff but still...
Steph Curry and friends did a parody on this. Makes me think twice about drafting him.
Hole shit there are a ot of them. By the way, I love Elton John and Neil Diamond. I have also been to 2 Tom Jones concerts. I took my mom so I wouldn't look too gay....not that there is anything wrong with that.
Actually, I am a little embarrassed. But I trust you guys not to make fun of me.
I saw Elton John a few weeks ago in concert, it was freaking awesome. But I like Bennie and the Jets most.. One song I'm not afraid to admit I like is Heart of Glass by Blondie. Sick voice in that song.
Fuck You by Lily Allen is a pretty good song. Although I wish she kept the title as Guess Who Batman? Rick Roll is great. I Love College is decent, but the Davidson parody proves that anyone could to Asher Roth's singing, and that there isn't a lot of talent there. But it's not a terrible song. You gotta love some Taylor Swift too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-L9uRzuAUxI and what about Kelly Pickler? I remember when she was on American Idol. She was a complete train wreck, and couldn't really sing at all. But she went to Nashville, got some professional training. Just shows you that with some professional training, and working with professionals for you can become a pretty decent musician. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dWkmC_lS2M
You can see his stripes, but you know he's clean. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1yoat_dio-holy-diver_music
hahaha... that's exactly the first thing that came to my mind when I opened this thread. Good stuff. We've all got songs that I'd imagine we roll the window up in the car when it comes on.
That is a good song (Cool change is another one that is good by them). They're proof positive looks didn't matter when it comes to songs. Them and Toto.
