Check out the guys playing hockey over in Europe. Reminds me of Nascar.

I agree that it's kind of tacky. What's wrong with adding more advertising to the flip boards on the sidelines? Digitally adding a logo right into the court?

Putting an ad for Pepsi on the lower right corner of the TV screen? I find it hilarious that broadcasters are always putting ads for "The Closer" in those spots, yet seem completely unwilling to put a soft drink there. If I worked at an ad agency and I represented somebody like Gatorade or Nike, I'd tell them I'm pulling all my advertising, but I'm open to discussing how I can have a Gatorade ad where The Closer ad is.

they'll be doing it to increase their profits and use the current financial climate as an excuse to get away with it.

This is new? I thought Portland was sponsored all these years by Chevy and was wondering what the uniforms would say next year with the bankruptcy and all...

As a now owner in GM, I do not want to spend our marketing $$$ on NBA team wear advertising. I also want to threaten to pull all GM products and auto's out of NASCAR. That should raise the ire of some enough to get my new company some backing from the southern states to place my newly reopened plants there, and hire non union workers to help cut costs. Then since the government is backing my new company I would ask them to help subsidize medical costs for my newly employed illegal immigrants that I hired on at $7.00 hr. Then with all my money I could retire early, buy a car made better overseas and watch the Portland TrailblazersnikemicrosoftstarbucksacropolisdarcellesMcmenimens's play on tv.
