Sorry for an other Gordon one. But me and others on realgm talk about this alot. Like we J.J drops to like the 11-15th pick should we get him and trade gordon.Who would you guys want?I picked Gordon cause i feel hes wayyy better then J.J. Redick Doesnt really make his own shots cant defend cant pass that well. Hes just a shooter.
there is no comparison. jj reddick can only shoot. he can't defend, he can't dribble and he can't go to the basket. it's not even close. ben gordon is a million times better than jj reddick. reddick is gonna suck in the nba.
Yeah Gordon. JJ is only a good shooter. He is good without the ball but Gordon can get inside, drive. He is the better defender as well and like I said before, he is great in 4th quarters which is a plus.
i don't know.. defense isn't what always makes great NBA players. what will probably suck for JJ is his speed and his strength. hopefully he can be another reggie or something 'cause i'm really pullin' for him in the NBA. sometimes shooting is all you need.
I personally think he is really overrated. I think he will fail big time in the NBA and I hope he does...
Ben Gordon is a MUCH better player, i don't even have to explain myself, but the buzz around Ben Gordon being traded and JJ being kept is due to the fact that the Bulls can get a better player in return for Gordon. If they trade their pick, they won't get as good of a player in return than if they were to trade BG.
I can't stand J.J- I've seen him play, and seriously don't get the love obsession with him. Yeah, Duke is #1, but they have more than 5 NBA-prospects!J.J is <Censored>- all he can do is shoot, and showed that in the tourney- that it is possible to completely stop his shooting by simply putting a body on him.He is undersized, a bad athlete, a bad defensive player. While he does have amazing range on his shot, his accuracy isn't super-amazing- he is a bit of a streaky shooter.Ben is MUCH MUCH better than J.J- he is just as good a shooter as JJ (plus has proven countless times that he can get it done in crunch time), a much much better athlete who has PROVEN that he can make it as an undersized guard.

Atleast he gives effort there.And he's not streaky at all. you can't score 27 ppg and be streaky in college.

Most of the time, he's nothing special either. However I agree with most of you, Gordon actually might have a better jumpshot, but is far superior in terms of creating it. He is a better finisher, and won more in college
J.J. Redick gets a bad defensive reputation because he's a little white SG when he was great defender this year.

he is certainly not a great defender, but he is underrated. He may ne small and unathletic, but like i said he earlier, he makes up for it a little bit with his effort.
I have to pick Ben Gordon. Not that Redick is a bad defender, but I think Gordon is better. Gordon has also shown that he is clutch, while as I see it in the tounament, Redick slumped every year.
Hands down Ben Gordon. JJ is not gonna make it in the league, the college game is a lot different than pro ball. In college it seems like pass it around until you get an open three, in the pros it's more fundamental. Plus Ben Gordon is a great shooter and is a player to watch out for in the future he will be a major star.
