Damn, I never even knew it was a fan who came up with the slogan. I guess that's the thing, it's a hard thing to prove or disprove.

If he really is the We Believe guy, as I will at this time believe he is, then he totally got screwed. How am I not surprised by this?

I actually hope more and more negative press about the Warriors organization comes out. Maybe somehow the Warriors brass will realize they suck at what they do.

I'm reading the comments on SF Gate and supposedly Wong turned down compensation from the Warriors in 2007. In that case, I guess I will say karma's a bitch.

Yes, he was the guy who started it. And yeah, after it kinda caught fire the W's offered to pay him but he declined, saying that he didn't want to accept money for it (though this article says he later wanted money? kinda confusing).

We believe, it was a one season wonder! I guess I should be happy we didn't have a total drought, but it's like knowing that we'll have one season of rain, and the next few years we'll have no water at all. That's exactly what the warriors management causes when they start messing with things they don't understand. It's like Mullin's cooking a soup, and the other cooks are throwing all kinds of crap in there, and then the customers end up not liking it. Why not just let the original cook do his freakin' job.

I'm almost to the point of not caring about the Warriors just because Rowell and Cohan have run this ship into the ground over and over. We can't get off the shore because they keep steering it into shallow water. F those guys! Am I right?

I'll never stop caring, but I'll stop paying money to support them. My uncle took me to a game 28 years ago to see the Warriors play the Lakers in the fifth row behind the announcers. Joe Barry Carrol and World B Free against Kareem, Magic, Cooper, and Kurt Rambis (Who slammed into the announcer table right in front of us diving for a loose ball). I was hooked. My hatred for the Lakers and Love for the Warriors started that day. (I know I know... How does one start loving a team with World B Free and Joe Barry Carrol? We were the home team, that's how. My uncle knew what he was doing...unfortunately he's doomed me to a lifetime of dissapointment.
