Just saw on the Oregonian's website that there's a tornado warning in the Willamette Valley? What the heck is going on down there? I thought the only tornado in Oregon was at North Medford High School. Crazy. Good thing hcp switched to Comcast because that would totally screw up his directtv.
Wind really picked up here...check out the radar. http://www.weather.com/outlook/recr..._svrWarn_ski&zoom=8&interactiveMapLayer=radar
The power went out at QFC while I was ordering macaroni salad. You should have seen the sheer panic. It was fucking hilarious. I love Oregon, and like most Oregonians, but man - we are spoiled. The slightest disruption to our day to day lives and the people flip the fuck out. It's funny.
Down here working the Timber game at PGE Park and the wind came through and knocked some of our cameras down! Crazy wind!
it's windy as hell, really loud thunder, lightning here in SW Portland. and about two hours ago it was so sunny I was planning on mowing the lawn... anyone know what you're supposed to do with your computer during a storm? unplug it completely?
That storm was the best thing to happen to our neck of the woods in 3 weeks. The air is so clean now, and the weather is crisp like an early June evening should be in Portland. I love it.
Meh, sounds like something that's minor in the Mid-West where you sometimes get thunder that literally shakes the ground.
