Bulls looking at Tyler Hansbrough @16 as reported by Chad Ford.

Hansbrough's measurements and physical testing were better than expected. 6-8½ in socks. Pretty good reach. Better athetic times (e.g. sprints) than many of the guys that were considered more athletic.

I defintely think Hansbrough deserves a good long look at 16. Seems like decent value to me there.

If the Bulls chose to keep their pick I think they should draft Hansbrough. He's worth a shot, he's got a lot of energy and pulls down boards on a consistant basis. Team him with Noah and we have the most hated front court in the NBA.....I don't think that's a good thing though.

You guys blast Pax for taking guys like Hansbrough every year. On the other hand, he and Noah in the front court would be an all-time hustle combination.

I was always a fan of the Noah pick, though I don't like him as a starter.

On the other hand, we don't have anyone better besides Miller and he's past being a starter for big minutes.

I was thinking about Hansbrough, but I dont want the Bulls to keep either (16 & 26 i believe) of their picks. I want a trade that brings in that low post threat that we've been needing

I think the Bulls are ideally suited to go after Bosh, offering a combo of picks plus Deng plus expiring deals (James, Tim Thomas).

If anything, the Bulls should trade away their picks for future picks. The draft is weak, and the picks add to our payroll which is already pushing the LT.

There is a difference between picking a hard-working non-freak (or even worse tweener) in the lottery and doing this @ 16 IMHO.
