I'm talking about what universities are meant for--academics. Keep your eye on the ball.

Ha, ha. I almost followed up with a response involving a UO incident, but felt like we'd been down that road enough times to officially call the whole thing old and tired.

The OSU "homo sheepgate incident" will live for ever as it's part & parcel of what lies at the heart of a friggin' Beaver athlete.

I love it. The most embarrasing item in the history of the state and it gets to fall on the beavs. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :biglaugh::lol:

Huh, and I thought having a UO football player get caught by airport security with a strap-on penis in his carry-on luggage was embarrassing. We've both had our moments, no doubt.

By the way, I really did not want to bring that up. I was pushed.

First statement true, we'll never live that one down. I laugh along with them when my Duck fan friends bring that up... second statement not so much.

Duck players shooting ducks in a park with a bb gun is pretty funny also. Mike Bellotti's wife cheating on him with her personal trainer and getting caught in a parking lot with his dick in her mouth is embarrassing and E.Kent having an affair with the producer of his TV show when he claims to be a religious man is also embarrassing.

Sort of OT - I think the Ducks and Beavs are gonna be good this football season. Especially the Ducks. I honestly wouldnt be surprised to see them be the team that finally takes the Pac 10 crown from USC this season. I predict the Beavs to finish #3 in the Pac 10 and the Ducks and USC to battle for #1 & #2 in the Pac 10.

Lot of question marks for both teams.. but both teams have the chance to be good.. the think in UO's favor right now is their schedule, most of their really tough games will be at home which anything can happen at Autzen. Here's to College Football season only being a little while away!

I think the Ducks will win 9 or 10. They have a soft schedule but have lost some depth at wide receiver. If they run effectively, they can dump to the tight ends and should be OK. As to The Beavers, they are always a hard team to predict. They have such a darn good coaching staff and always seem to play above their talent level. I think it safe to say they will win 7-9 games and be in a bowl.'

    Yes. Ontario Smith.

Speaking of Smith... I think its safe to say that the Ducks have had more NFL busts then the Beavs.

Damn me for posting this and getting involved in a Duck & Beav bash fest. :)

Sadly, I'm old enough to remember when neither the Beavers nor the Ducks mattered in collegiate sports. Since I'm not an alum of either institution, I'm proud of the steps both universities have made in this regard. I save my hatred for the F'uskies.
