What a class for Kansas. I loved it.

You find that guessing game? Really?

Even with a weak-ass draft class, 9 of the 10 top players made it to the NBA (assuming Hansbrough does). And what non-top 100 player IS an NBA player? Mbah-Boute is the only one, if I read the article correctly.

Of the thousands of players that graduated from high school that year, I think it's pretty impressive that the rankings were as accurate as they were.

I just meant that if you take any year, they can rank players any way they want, but the "experts" or us never really know how it is gonna pan out. That class had Monta Ellis ranked 40th. And look who the 2nd ranked player is........ JMAC! My point is, everybody is just guessing.

Monta Ellis is ranked 3rd. Am I missing something?

McRoberts didn't pan out, but given that he was a second round pick and still is bumping around the NBA... where SHOULD be be in the list? 8th? 10th?

The rankings look pretty accurate to me, given the total lack of dominant players in that class.

    I don't know, maybe I miss-read Monta's ranking. Ed where were you ranked? I was # 2 baby, class of 1990!

Aaah so you were late enough to not get schooled by Terrel Brandon. That guy tore everybody a new one when I was in school.:confused:

TB is a good friend of mine. 2 years older then me. What a blast to watch him while I guarded the Gatorade!

I think HCP went to Grant with Terrel, so if he did play he'd be helping in the tearing of new ones. I'm pretty sure I saw one of the two championship games...not that I remember, I was 4 or 5.

Yea and I can't remember if Brandon was a senior yet back then. They took us out early because we ran into them early in the brackets, otherwise we would have been probably playing them in the end, as we only had 1 loss rolling into the brackets that year.

    I was unranked.

Again: showing the rankings are sometimes extremely accurate!

I think we lost in the championship game in 86, 87, won it in 88! Got thru the first couple rounds in 89. Good hoop in the P.I.L. back then! Go Generals!
