Just wondering, does anyone think he has a future on this team, and if he'll ever contribute in the NBA? Seems pretty level headed in his interviews at least...

I know Phil had high hopes for him, but he still hasn't fully recovered from his knee injury. I think they'll give him burn in the summer league and in the pre-season next year and if he still hasn't improved, they'll ship him out as an expiring contract. Maybe they can package him with Farmar for a real backup for Kobe?

Well in the interview he says his knees feel fine. If you check his rookie game log, he actually played really well for them to start the season, but I'm guessing fatigue kicked in because he finished the season with a low note.

Regardless of what happens though, I'm pretty sure the Lakers will shop him around. I don't mind Morrison as our 3rd SF, but he gets paid way too much to sit on the bench all game. Shipping him along with Farmar or Fish to land a true starting PG would do wonders for this team.

Charlotte played him at SG his rookie season. He's not that kind of player.
