Jose Aldo is a fucking beast. I think I've said that a couple times, now.

    Aldo over Brown via KO.

I feel bad for Faber. I think he won that first round and had an awesome game plan. He used his speed and allowed Brown to take his back. He kept getting up. I think a healthy Faber wins that fight.

Jorgensen vs. Manuelos will be a fight of the year candidate, I'm sure. Great scrap.

I was less impressed with the main event. Lots of spastic busy work but little effective offense from either fighter. After about the second round you could tell Brown was content to grind it out, and there was nothing Faber could do about it. Brown's grappling control, both standing and on the mat, is outstanding.

Jens should retire. He wanted to but the prick interviewer wouldn't let him. If you recall, the same douche asked Jens "are you still relevant?" after the loss to Garcia, to which Jens replied "I hope so" before breaking into tears. Fuck that guy. Jens has lost six of seven and four straight. If he isn't going to fight competitive fighters, which seems to be the only way to get him a W, he should just hang it up. I'm sure he can be an effective trainer and coach.

Jose Aldo is the most entertaining option for Brown now, but I don't see any submissions from his back in his career yet. That's where he'll be. The more competitive match-up for Brown might be Wagnney Fabiano, though the fight would put everyone to sleep.

Donald Cerrone is a pimp. He walked through Krause like he didn't give a fuck. Showed him no respect at all. Varner is ducking a rematch at the moment but dimes to dollars it will be in a few months or whenever Varner is "out of the ICU" (LOL!). If he isn't offered that rematch, Cerrone should just come over to the UFC. Exciting fighter (supposing you keep him away from wrestlers).

$10,000 bonuses were handed out to Brown & Faber (Fight of the Night), Seth Dikun (Submission of the Night), and Jose Aldo (Knockout of the Night).

    Jorgensen/Manuelos = robbed.

Ouch for Jim Krause... would anyone on this site take a Donald Cerrone ass-kicking for just $1,700 bucks?

Was it just me or did you guys think Jorgenson should of won the fight? I thought Jorgenson lost round 1 but seemed like he dominated round 2 and 3.

It was a close fight but I thought Banuelos won most of the exchanges and did a good job of countering. It was a classic case of one fighter pushing forward and the other counterattacking. Very hard to score. I had it 29-28 Banuelos but it could've gone either way.

Where do these guys go now?

Does Aldo get a crack at Brown? This seems most logical.

What about Faber or Garcia? In a Faber/Aldo fight, Aldo beating Faber puts Aldo as the undisputed #1 contender, but a win by Faber pushes a 3rd bout with Brown. Garcia was just up there, if he gets another win he could possibly see a #1 contenders with one of these 2 guys as well.

    Throw one of them Gamburyan?

According to his twitter or w/e, Faber broke both hands and is having surgery on his right one.

Yeah, he said that at the end of the fight that he thought both were broke. He didn't start throwing his left elbow until 4th or 5th round, but he fought one hell of a fight.

I think Aldo should get the next crack at Brown.
