Hey guys, since I had my computer repaired several months ago, they put in a new hard drive. Now I'm wondering, maybe if I buy the recovery disc according to the model which shows on a sticker on my motherboard which is (HP Pavilion a1330n), that I've always had, won't work. Not for the hard drive. Because I honestly don't know what kind they put in. Maybe the same that I originally had but new, or maybe different.

All I want to know is how I can find out which kind of recovery disc I need. Does it even matter? Will it still recovery anyways?

By the way, I'm getting the disc from http://www.restoredisks.com/

Familiar with that site? Would you consider it? Do you have any other places I can buy one online? Local store?

Why don't you ask them what type they put in? Every hard drive has a serial number you might be able to find the manufacturer of the drive if you google the serial number.
