I think they're worried about it. If we win game 3, we'll sweep em. Love how Phil has cut down on the backups minutes. Too many mistakes from everyone but Shannon, pretty much.
I remember how I felt last year, when it was the same thing, but reversed. A lot of pressure on the team to win 3 straight. All we have to do is win 1, then we get 2 games at home to close out. I don't see us losing at home. Ideally we get it over with and win in Orlando (never want to extend the series), but at the very least, winning 1 game will pretty much guarantee us a championship as long as the guys continue to be focused and continue to play hard. With this team, who knows.
obviously the orlando magic players are retarded, it is not the same being down 2-1 to the sixers, or 3-2 to the celtics than it is down 2-0 to the lakers in the finals. its philli, and a garnett-less celtic team. it is completely different. lakers are the best in the west, celtics were second in the east, and without kg, philli, well its philli, they were lucky to win 2, they are still building there team. the lakers are in it to win it, not a half-assed team in the first or second round, plus we have kobe on the team, he is better than anyone on either two of those rosters. it just astounds me how bad the magic are at concealing their fear. i hope the lakers put a dagger through their hearts and win game 3 with a convincing victory. Kobe is going to be fired up, i can tell, plus bynum is due for a little more production soon.
It's a 2-3-2 format as well Not 2-2-1-1 very different. They must protect homecourt if they want to win the series.
They probably should pay attention to it. Only 3 teams have ever come back from a 2-0 deficit in the Finals, and no team beats PJax after he wins game one of a series.
I say we take GAME 3. The MAGIC will have the crowd with them, but knowing KOBE, he'll want to ice it. He's not done yet. I dont even think he had his best game in this series in GAME 1.
It's a good mindset for the Magic. You can't think about what happened already, just gotta take one game at a time. Lakers defended homecourt, time for them to do the same if they want the 'ship.
