Haven't touched mine in about 4-5 years..... might spend the next week or two tweaking it......just kind of unfulfilled and bleh at work right now.....need to start getting out there again and checking some opportunities out. Resumes have been rather passe though, but I guess people still technically want to have them.
You might be surprised. With so many people unemployed and with employers getting so many resumes, they only interveiw those with razor sharp resumes- because right now they can.
The only reason I update my resume is because I have to do so. Our pitch books have our resumes in them.
About 9 years. I hope to never have to make another one again. Job hunting is probably the most miserable chore I can think of. But you have to remember that if you do it well, you can get a bigger pay raise in one day than you would working for three years at the same job.
