It seems like you'll do anything to try to ridicule the Obama administration. You're grasping at straws, and this thread is one.
I don't feel safer. Yeah, I feel somewhat less safe, though I see a lot of Obama's policies making us far less safe.
I'm not saying I feel safer, but I don't feel any unsafer, either. I don't think Obama is the kind of guy who will let some kind of attack go without consequences. If some one does attack us, I really believe he'll answer that attack with military force.
So it's better to start wars without just cause, aka Bush's Iraq invasion? Tell me then, specifically, what policy of Obama has made you feel unsafer?
Cuts in military spending. Closing Guantanimo. Scuttling missile defense. The naivete of thinking you can negotiate with terrorists.
He is naive sometimes, at the same time I don't want to be in superfluous wars or waste lots of money in a long occupation/mission like Iraq. Spreading ourselves thin in various fronts and with our economy the way it is, we need to be more judicious with our military action. Also I am not sure I concur with his new assignment in Afghanistan and sending so many troops over there. I can understand getting some tyrants out of power, but I don't like the massively expensive occupations/quagmires that occur afterward.
Haha..I don't have to grasp at straws, nor do I have to try to ridicule the Obama administration. He is doing it all on his own. So far he has literally done absolutely nothing positive with this country in any way shape or form. You know there's a problem when Rachel Maddow calls Obama Bush Part 2. Wake up, it's obvious.
Old thread, but seriously??? How are we unsafer? How are we more safer? I don't believe there is such thing. It's not like Obama is inviting anyone in to attack. It's not like Bush was either. Actually it seems like they have pretty much an agreement on everything except for torture and Guantanamo Bay. I don't think that was keeping me safe and your kidding yourselves if you don't think torture would be used or has been used in the past assuming their intelligence suggest that a threat will occur. Of course that seldom happens and that's why I don't think about it.
