    i think this was a strategic move by jennings and his handlers. jennings probably was under the assumption that his stock was falling and he had to justify his game publicly and in the process undermine rubio's game.

    Historically, Sacramento has only drafted players that have worked out for them. I personally think that this is pretty stupid, because (a) it leaves them prone to being dictated to by players that refuse to work out for them, and (b) it makes it pretty hard to set up a smokescreen. It will be interesting to see if they abandon this policy to draft Rubio, or if they pass on him for someone like Jennings.
