It is possible that he might opt out for an extension, but take less money per year to allow the team to secure their FAs. Tim Duncan did that a few years back.
Should be interesting to see what he does. If he wants the team to continue to contend he'll probably have to give the Lakers a home-town discount. But then again hes obsessed with MJ so maybe he wants to become the next 30 million dollar player.
I heard that Kobe is going to opt out and sign with Denver. Melo is going to the Clips and ZBo is coming here for BRoy who will be in L.A. Oh also, Kareem is going to team with Bynum in a romantic comedy and Sharon Stone is going to make Basic Instinct 4 (skipping 3 altogether!)
