hahaha... true to that. I've grown to like Antonio a bit, but his constant brain farts and asking for names of even people on the Blazers is hilarious.

He will probably package Sergio with our #24 for a good, 2nd round pick, so that way we can have like 5 of them.:drumroll:

No, the absolute easiest thing to do is add a bunch of young players. To have them actually be GOOD players is remarkably hard. Otherwise every team would win 50+ games with the youngest rotation in the league.

    Why doesn't Jarrett Jack count?

2nd round picks don't have to be offered guaranteed contracts like 1st rounders do.

He will call me for advice, then call Paul to see if he is willing to pay my price.

He'll try to trade up and get Ty Lawson.

How expansive are 3 goats these days? With all the goat manufacturers in bankruptcy and goat dealers closing - there is excess inventory and I suspect PA, even in this economy, can pay.

    Congrats, barfo.

I predict his biggest move will be one that we didn't anticipate/discuss much if at all. I wouldn't be surprised to see a core player dealt. If history holds, I'll probably love it.

I'm wondering if we might see Lamarcus, Travis, Bayless & Frye traded to New Orleans for West and Paul?

We then package a Sergio and picks, move up a little bit in the draft to secure DeJuan Blair as back-up PF. (look to obtain New Jersey's pick to obtain Blair.

    Oden / Pryz / Randolph
    West / Blair
    Batum / Webster
    Roy / Rudy
    Paul / Blake

the salaries aren't nearly close enough for this to work. Besides that, if NewO is to move Chris Paul, I'd think they'd want to package him with some of their bad contracts instead of with their other quality player.

Pretty much this. I think Frye might be involved and only Outlaw and Bayless. I think we will use Sergio in a separate trade with NY to get Wilson Chandler. We use a draft pick on a PF, which ends up being Psycho T.

    Blake/Sessions
    Roy/Rudy
    Webster/Batum/Chandler
    Aldridge/Psycho T
    Oden/Pryz

I envision something like this. Webster & Rudy need to step up to replace Outlaw.

Edit: I now realize that Frye + Bayless + Outlaw for Sessions means Session is getting paid like $10 mill and why would MIL take on so much salary?? Maybe if we throw in cash too? So I guess we will have to take back another contract unless they are willing to settle for 2 out of the 3. Also, I don't think S&T's can be consummated until July 1st. Oh well. Maybe our draft day will amount to just the Sergio trade I threw out there for the hell of it and the drafting of Psycho T.

I agree if we do somehow get Paul, which I highly doubt, I think we would need to take Peja's contract back. Peja's back is not going to last that monster of a salay they gave him. I don't think we are trading LMA, even if Paul is involved.
