    Hello darkness, my old friend
I miss that team, too. Very mixed emotions watching the video.

I keep hoping that the Blazers will find a place on the coaching staff or front office for Scottie and Arvydas. They had amazing basketball IQs, that's why they played so effectively when they were physically past their primes.

    I miss them too.

He's right about the coach, and ignorant about the cherry picking.

I sometimes forget how much I hated that Lakers team. They were right up there with the Jazz.

yah, because historically we've lost so many players because Paul Allen wouldn't pay them.

    I would be too.

Btw, as much as it pains me to say this..until we beat them in a playoff series, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Yeah, I mean it was a L*ker thing. Only L*ker fans should have been there, and only the L*kers should have been talked about. I hate it when people from a fan group get together to celebrate or simply talk about their beloved team only to have to deal with fans from other teams. Don't these people have their own group?

It's still a sore spot for me to watch it. I actually hate that Lakers team far more than the current one. In fact, I'm more pissed about watching this game knowing the team lost game 7, than I am about the Lakers winning the title this year.

I wonder what will happen first.

Blazers winning a title, or K*be raping someone. I mean they've both done it once, so the odds should be fairly even.

Just kidding. Kobe has or mre opportunity, so the Blazers should get odds.

I agree with Rick Fox!!! Nate will not get us there.

    Pop or Phil

That said can any of you think of a better coach than Phil to take over Ptown? He's a hippie at heart, very zen, very laid back, and likes smart players. Well touchdown!!!!!! We have all of that. The triangle would be great with Roy, Batum, LA and Oden, hell even Joel and Rudy are high IQ players. This town would fit to Phil like a glove and we all know he goes nowhere without talent and Ptown is full of it!

Why in the world wouldn't we want Phil and vice versa?

We get Phil and Ptown wins 4 championships minimum!

I would be too... he sounds defensive about the Blazers... like he's kind of scared of them. Hasn't he ever heard the term, "Never let them see you sweat?" :tsktsk:

The Blazers seem pretty respected by most Laker commentators/fans for a rival team, I wouldn't worry about this too much.
