management are comparing him to iggy and gerald wallace, i was thinking more along the lines of gerald green
I've been hearing rumours that he doesn't want to be drafted to Toronto.' I've been saying for months DeRozan is perfect or the Raps. Too bad he's a prima donna.
Why exactly? Seems to me that DeRozan's another incredibly athletic, but still-developing swingman with a lot of potential. There have been so many of those over the years, that its even more difficult to project how he'll end up. There are as many busts as their are successes, who fit his mold when they were drafted. If we do pick him, it'll be a case where Colangelo's emphasis on psychological testing means something for once. Work ethic and coachability are the primary factors that lead to a player like DeRozan panning out.
the same tests that bargnani was off the charts on? as for the derozan comparison- let me tackle it by asking whats the difference between vince and iggy? both are athletically gifted but vince has handles, better jumper and a much better passer. because of these things vince can carry a team and iggy as well as gerald wallace jus keep their ball clubs competitive. and whats the difference between gerald wallace and gerald green? wallace and iggy play with reckless abandon and gerald green jacks up shots in a superstar pace with the offensive abilities of iggy. and iggy and gerald wallace have always played with that reckless abandon, however, derozan plays like vince with iggy's game. thats the difference.
