I will be surprised if he falls to round 2. In a weak draft, a good, blue-colllar, glue player should be able to find a home.

Yeah, agreed, which is too bad for us, unless KP thinks they could get their back up pf in the 2nd, like Pendergraph, and take Collison at 24, which seems too high.

If we could land both Psycho T and Collison I would be thrilled!

Has Nate guaranteed that he'd win us 2 or 3 games yet?

But seriously - I'm on the bandwagon too! By all accounts he's the best defender of the batch of PGs scheduled to go first round.

Notice in the video that KP makes a point of noting that Collison can "get in the paint at will" - are you listening, Steve Blake?

    Really?

(Notice that they've got Pendergraph going just before our second 2nd-rounder.)

Collison has the potential to be a very good backup PG.

He has to bulk up. At 165, imagine what's going to happen when he gets his first hip check from a big.

Hey, maybe if we have FOUR backup PGs we won't need an actual starter!

Heard his interview on the radio as well and was pretty impressed. Probably because his agent told him some good things to say like being a role player to Brandon Roy, and then mentioning Blake a bit, and then playing defense.
Seems like a good overall guy, but I don't see him as an NBA starter. I see a lot of Mike James for some reason in him with his jump shot. He'll be a solid player who'll be around for awhile as a backup.

Wow, I am really impressed by his interview. He is very skinny, but who cares.

I wouldn't have a problem getting him at 24, only if Psycho T is not available. Or maybe trade 2 of our second rounders and get something in the 30 range.

I want to clarify my point above. I think I laughed more at the idea of being thrilled to trade up and get Psycho T, make it Collison and Pendergraph (24, and 32 picks respectively) and I think you'd have to be satisfied with that assuming no trades or movement is made to get higher in the draft. Neither player is going to be a star IMO, but I think they can be solid role players.
