My choice is Chris Wilcox has been a stud since getting minutes in Seattle. He's averaging 14/7 splitting time with their other bigmen. He's shooting 60% and has really taken pressure off Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis. Example tonight, he got 18/13 in a big win over Portland. Considering he's playing with Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis he's been scoring more than I thought he would.
Uh, it's Portland..but I agree with your pick there. Dwight Howard has been a stud ever since the beginning of his rookie year with Orlando. Averaging 15 and 12 right now, and his future is looking even better. Its good when the NBA has promising big men for the future. He and Jameer Nelson are solid for the Magic.
Samuel Dalembert- If you developed a better basketball IQ he would be a top 5 center in the league.He is averaging 8 and 8 while shooting 54% and ranking top 4 in blocks per gameDavid Harrison- If he could add some better skills to his knowledge of the game he would be a monster.He's putting up decent numbers actually.
I think the two big men who are going to be the KG/Duncan type guys of the future are Chris Bosh and Dwight Howard. Both are still really young and have developed tremendously and have very bright futures ahead of them. I know this thread is moreso for less known players, but looking at the big picture, these two guys are going to be a big part of the leagues future..
I'm going to go with David West. In my opinion he's the most improved player of the year. He's avgeraging 18 ppg, 7.5 rpg, and is shooting 51% from the field. Not only does he have the stats, but he is clutch. I believe he has 3 game winners this year. I think him and Chris Paul are going to make the Hornets a sure playoff team next year.

Dalembert is decent defensively, due to his shot-blocking, but the guy has no offensive skills...all of his points basically come from dunks, alley-oops, and put-backs.

I think Howard and Bosh are the best choices...With Wilcox behind them.Also, I can't wait to see if Diop gets better as he gets more experience for Dallas.
