I would look at Nick Calathes with our early 2nd rounder. He's playing in Greece this year and would be a decent prospect to stash. I see 3 of the 4 being traded for future picks.
I wonder how the crummy economy impacts the value of these second rounders. Does it drive up the value, because they represent a cheap way to add talent to your bench? Or does it drive down value, because teams aren't looking to bring in any more personnel than is absolutely necessary?
I'd watch Rounders for more than 4 seconds! Boom-ching. My guess? We'll probably do something like this: Trade #24 + #32 + #56 for a higher pick (#18?) #38 Draft Beaubois Trade #55 for a future 2nd rounder
I'd be on board with Calathes or Pendergraph with our 32nd pick; I think it's likely to be the only one that sticks, with the others washing out of training camp or being traded outright.
Keep'em all. I've got some plans for those. Namely: Danny Green Jeff Pendergraph Nick Calathes Rodrigue Beaubois I'm sure the stars won't align for this to happen, but I can dream.
I bet kp drafts a bunch of euros and stashes them, if one pans out in a few years while they're making their championship run then it would be a big bonus.
