I think Dacos has proved to be a serviceable 3rd string, back up center. He's cheap, I don't see why we shouldn't keep him.

Plus, he seems like a great locker room guy. Awesome for chemistry.

Plus, if you don't keep him, he'll kick your ass. Black belt in Judo? I think he should be in the UFC.

Love the two bolded parts. Outside of Kobe, I don't know if their is a player on this team that gives 100% effort every single play of the game that he is in. Congo is always sprinting down court. He might not be a great role player, but his effort is always amazing.

Well Sasha's interview just reinforces the point that work ethic isn't the problem. I hope he snaps out of his funk next year. I'm actually pretty optimistic. I think he'll bounce back, he can't be any worse than he was this year. Not possible. Just continue working hard, and maybe he'll gain some confidence playing for his country. Sasha never seemed to be in rhythm last year, injuries, missing training camp. Hopefully he starts the season off on the right foot, and succeeds because of that. I'm optimistic.

I am sure Sasha will look excellent, in garbage time.

He looked like he did the season before his contract year, maybe it was a regression to the mean? Even if that is not the case, he's going to have to work for his position back, plus we need some athletic player that can defend at his position anyway (Brown or whoever we replace him with).
