It's been 10 years since the Lakers have signed a major FA.

Wait until he gets a great Pass first Point guard, or another good big man down low.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pistonfan11 @ Apr 5 2006, 03:16 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Another underrated pickup was the signing of Bobby Simmons for the Bucks. He brings solid defense and good offense and is a reason they are in the playoffs. He shoots over 40% from beyond the arc, and shoots 45% field goals. He is second on the team in scoring and will also be effective in the future.</div> He was terrible in the beginning of the year, the last two years he's really gotten a lot better as the season has gone on.

Playing how the Lakers play (Triangle offense, sometimes the Bryangle offense) they don't need a typical PG. They need a tall, athletic PG who can knock down the open shots. Smush Parker fits that, except his jumper is way too inconsistent. Kobe and Odom create the offense. They don't need a PG to penetrate and make the offense go.

It's alright, putting them into the playoffs, but thats not enough to get them into the second round, let alone the Finals. They should just get rid of that type of offense, get a pass first point guard, get a big man, and go with that.

Kwame is on the Lakers. He was saying who Caron was traded for, which was Kwame and a pick.

Okay, I guess I'm a bit wrong about Kwame. Last night against Denver he put a pretty impressive statline:15 pts, 13 rebs, to go along with 4 assts. He never did that with Washington. I guess its because we have Eddie Jordan and LA has Phil Jackson [IMG]
