Which of these do you think will turn out to be a better-than-average starting-quality player, and which a bust? (Note that, obviously, you can vote more than once.)
Rubio is the only guy on that list I can see becoming a star. A bust? I'll say Curry. He is the second most hyped guy on the list, and could wind up being the least successful at the NBA level.
Rubio is the only one whom I consider to have a good chance to be a star. Holiday has big bust potential, IMO. The rest of the players strike me as fairly ordinary...likely to be between reserves and decent starters.
There is no option for that, just like there's no option for appearances in a Nike commercial. If you don't think that anyone will be a bust or a star then don't vote. Ed O.
Rubio has star potential, Holliday strikes me as having pretty big bust potential based on his lackluster year at UCLA
I forgot him! You could do a second group of Jennings, Teague, Lawson, Maynor and Collison, but it wouldn't be quite as fun. Really I should have done two polls - one of star with all ten then another with bust and all ten. But that's a lot of first-round PGs! And that doesn't even include Sergio Llull.
Not to mention I have seens at least a couple of workouts described amongst some of the ten PGs, and Holiday ALWAYS is mentioned as looking terrible. Normally that wouldn't matter, because a player has his college resume to fall back on, but Holliday... (How many L's is it, anyway? Not as many as Llull, I'll bet.)
I voted all busts since there were only two options. I think Rubio will be a huge bust. Curry and Jennings will be below average, while Evans and Holiday will not be busts, but not stars either.
