    What a fucking war.

I gave it to 29-28, to Guida. I thought he took the last two rounds. I didn't think Diego won the 1st round 10-8.

    What a fucking fight, though.

    I personally thought it was a draw... I had it 10-8, 9-10, 9-10.

Honestly no one can really complain though, it was a fucking awesome fight and one that could actually have gone either way and not been a "poor decision".

Wooow, James Wilks is MUCH better than he showed on TUF. What a wipeout.

Joe Stevenson bores me to death.

Lytle/Burns was fun but I would rather have seen Nick and Frankie from TUF, just because that was the nature of the show.

Winner/Pearson was good but from the opening minute you could tell there wouldn't be a finish.

I really don't like Sanchez but he won that fight. His elbows from the guard were better than Guida's top control and limited ground and pound.

Good show overall aside from the blanket performance by Stevenson. For a guy who said he wasn't afraid to be cut, he didn't take any risks, did he?

The UFC was awfully generous to give Stevenson/Diaz FOTN honours, it wasn't that great of a fight. I wanted Stevenson to lose that fight so maybe he would consider dropping weight. I don't think hes good enough to compete with the top level 155ers and he'll be forever stuck putting on boring fights at the middle-near top tier of the LW division. Sanchez put on a good fight and I would like to see him take on Tyson Griffin or Sean Sherk before getting a title shot, I think Gray Maynard has earned a shot ahead of Sanchez.

Also, I wanted to note that the SpikeTV production of the show last night was atrocious. It was a nonstop barrage of advertising from the beginning of the show to the end of Rogan's special.

I think the first two fights took 90-mins. Then Rogan got about 40 minutes of material out over the hour, much of which was edited (oddly, too: shit bleeped, ***got allowed).

The worst part was that Spike has about 10 commercials and after an hour or two the breaks are unbearable.

PPV's are expensive but at least a little less hammering.

I thought the same thing last night, about PPV's.

I don't mind spending the $$$ on them now.

    same.

However man Wilks surprized me big time. I really though DeMarques was a big favourite over him, seeing both fight in the house. I looked after the fight, and the betting odds were 3 to 1.

Wilks was definitely a shocker, he looked twice as crisp as he did on the show.
Pearson surprised the hell outta me too. When they showed his montage of training back home etc, I was amazed at how ripped and fit he looked compared to the show where he looked kinda doughy.

still those were the 2 least exciting fights to watch on the night IMO.

Man I don't get why ppl bag on Clay Guida, he's a freaking cardio machine with granite for a jaw. You could see Sanchez fading a bit in the last round and Guida was still going.

was a solid night of fights though, really enjoyed the fact that I got the bit torrent rather than suffering through the dozens and dozens of commericals on Spike :D

Maybe it's because I am Demarques hater but the outcome of the fight didn't surprise me that much. I thought the two guys were pretty evenly matched coming into the finale.

It was a little surprising to me that the UFC knew who would be in the finals but they chose to highlight Wilks as little as possible on the show. He might've gotten the least airtime of all the fighters, including Junie Jr.

You'd think they'd have the sense to flesh his character out more knowing he'd get far.

I mean, does anyone even know why Demarcus hated him? His 'mann-ur-isms'? The fact he was, to quote Goldberg, 'too chatty'? Like, c'mon Zuffa, get your head in the game.
