You can't guard the best PG in the NBA individually for the most part unless you are a freak like Scotty Pippen or Bruce Bowen. But what you can do, is attack them on the other end. Rubios lack of ability to shoot is going to kill him until he figures it out, which might not be ever.

I'm wondering the same thing. I dont think Rubio will ever be anything special.

I don't know that Sergio has been considered a better player than Rubio ever. Maybe four years ago, when Ricky was 14?

Rubio has been lauded as a once-in-a-generation PG from Europe for years now, and he has excelled at every opportunity he's had to live up to that.

I think this last-minute skepticism on the part of teams is misplaced, and I think the doubt on the part of fans here is ignorance.

I disagree here. Rubio is going to make noise no matter how it turns out. Either he is as good as everyone says, in which case he is an all-star. On the other hand, if he doesn't turn into an all-star, he will be infamous as a team killing bust.

Due to hype, this kid really doesn't stand a chance of being judged fairly.

I really don't understand all the Rubio hate. He was productive in the minutes he was given. Keep in mind, he only 18!
