Yeah, I knew about Splitter, but the rest are all 2nd round picks. 2nd round picks don't come with cap holds, so there is no reason to renounce a player drafted in the second round. Splitter has rejected the Spurs because he can make so much more in Europe because of the rookie scale. Drafting players in the first round and stashing them overseas is not a smart move for teams usually. drafting them in the second round and stashing them however, like the Spurs, is brilliant.

Parker came right over. And none of the others were first round picks except Splitter who has refused to come over because the money is so different.

How is Ian Mahinmi doing anyway? I know he had a great game against us in his debut scoring no points in mop up minutes two years ago.

Didn't play in the league last year though. What happened to him? D league I think? The Spurs are paying over 1 million per year for a guy that will never make an impact. Great, sign me up.

I think Oberto signed as a free agent and was never drafted.

I appreciate your answer. I should have been more clear in my question, that is my fault. I meant first rounders.

Oberto wasn't even drafted. None of those players counted 1 cent against the Spurs cap until they actually came over to play. If Portland did that with Koponen and Freelnad it would have been a lot better rather than late firsts.
