What is your gut feeling on what Kevin Prichard will do?

When you hear about a player Kevin is interested in it's usually a smokescreen.

    My gut feeling:

    ==Stephen Curry is a smokescreen

==As much as this hurts, Ricky Rubio is a smokescreen

    The real player KP covets?

No, he isn't drafted, but we aren't drafting another PG, IMO.

It's not a bad thing to upgrade your future players.

Bayless is a carbon copy of Jarrett Jack, only more athletic.

Flynn may only be 6'0" but he has a long reach and his standing reach is only an 1" shorter than the 6'3" Bayless.

Flynn is just the type of player I think KP would go after. He's a true PG that actually likes to defend.

I agree with you that we need vets. I hope we bring in Kirk Hinrich or a Jason Kidd but I also think Bayless is not the PG of the future. He's a natural SG who has to convert into a PG. Flynn, on the other hand, doesn't. KP wasn't kidding when he drafted Bayless when he called him "Jarrett Jack on steroids."

gut feeling? We'll trade up to draft Blair and pick up a vet PG later. I'd be pretty disappointed with a rookie PG not named Ricky Rubio. In the 2nd round, we'll draft almost nothing but euros and stash them.

KP will trade #24, and most of our 2nd round picks for a 2010 1st round pick to open up cap space this summer. He might also pick some Euros to stash. That should be the extent of the draft day activity.

The real fun begins July 1.

What the fuck is the comparison with Jarrett Jack? Has Jack been gone that long that you have forgot what made Jarrett Jack the guy we wanted to leave, and then say Bayless play like him. I do not recall Bayless only being able to dribble with one hand, ever, in any game. I recall Jack doing that all the time. I also recall Jack making game losing turnovers in critical times, when Bayless hasn't even been in the game long enough to committ a game losing turnover. How about the guy gets to play before he gets labelled the goat. Because that is what Jack was. He was the goat. He is one of those guys that finds a way to lose a game. Sure he plays hard, and gives it a good effort. But he finds you way to lose games. I don't think that Bayless has even had the chance to do that.

Agree with Curry and Rubio being smokescreens. There's no chance in hell McMillan would want an 18 year old PG that will require a lot of patience.

I'm buying the Ty Lawson interest.

Come draft time my gut feeling is he drafts a young PF and a young PG that makes very little impact next year. (as most don't) And trades Sergio to NY for very little in return.

In a couple of weeks he uses what salary, trade exemptions, Or Raef for a sign and trade for a player like Josh Childress or a back up vet PF.

He'll throw everyone off and take Thabeet and trade Oden to the Spurs for Tony Parker...

With KP, you never know what you're gonna get.

Honestly, I don't want that to happen and I have absolutely no inclination as to what he'll pull out of the magical hat.

He won't probably pull anything out of his hat this year. He might pull something out of something else at the rate it is going though. And it won't be a hamster.

My gut feeling is that, just like last year w/Bayless, KP will trade up in the draft and get a guy that hasn't been talked about as much as others.
