Also, I am making the assumption that Saco is taking one of Rubio/Evans/Flynn

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Not gone. I never thought that the #5 pick was the likeliest way to land Rubio anyway, though that pick may have been a good midway step to getting higher. If Portland wants Rubio, they can still try to work a deal with Memphis, OKC (most likely, IMO) or Sacramento.

Portland getting Rubio was always a long-shot, but that long-shot isn't gone with this trade.

I think this is a great trade for both teams. I agree with everyone who says this gives WAS some decent depth. They do not want rookies. They need vets to go with Gil. Not rooks. Especially in the East. I think they will do fine with this trade.

This is fantastic for Minny too. Kahn is trying to be KP. So far he is doing a pretty good job of it! Congrats to both teams. But I think Minny got the better of the deal.

Now I just hope KP can trump Kahn.

Good trade for MIN, imo. Wow, if they can use future picks and their other picks and try to get 2 picks in the top 4 and get Rubio and Harden... WOW! That would be sick. They would definitely move right up into one of the potentially good future teams.

I'm still hopin' for a PG for us. Devin Harris would be nice. :)
