<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Raptors To Trade Lottery Pick? 4th April, 2006 - 3:22 am The Star - Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo, in a telephone interview with the Star yesterday, said there could be players in the draft to help put Toronto on the road to contention. "But we could use our pick to leverage a deal to get veteran help right away," he said. "There's no shortage of good, young talent" on the Raptors' roster, he said. "Another young guy with no experience may not be the best thing for this team." Mike James is one veteran who may not be back with the club next season. "We'll have to look at ways to cover that hole (in the roster) if it becomes a hole," Colangelo said. "You can certainly look at the point guard spot and say, `that's a need' for Toronto</div> LINKLakers should throw names like Kwame Brown, Chris Mihm at them, and use it to go after KG.

I'm sick and tired of hearing about KG being traded, just stop bringing it up. The Raptors aren't stupid enough to trade a top 5 pick for Kwame Brown or Chris Mihm because Toronto wants veteran help not Kwame Brown.

Also Raptors have a new smarter GM.
Nobody is going to trade a good veteran for a top 7 or so pick, I would take my chances and pick up Roy and hope for the best in FA...since the guy the team trades for probably was traded for a reason.
Yeah the draft isn't very deep and the top 5 picks won't be as good as they would be in other drafts so we wouldn't get great value. I would get Roy too because the younger the better. We can ad a veteran center like Nazr, Prys or even Nene. That would help out alot but I really like this kid, Roy and I hope Colangelo is smart enough to take him in the draft.
Mmhmm. whatt what PG is worth our pick tho. If its a good PG maybe. I would really like to pick up Noah. In the big game, he played great. A 6'11/7'foot center would be nice with the raptors.

Would be good for the Raptors. They have a good young team. They just need a good vet that is respected well.

That would be way to high for Noah. I doubt he will have the same dominance in the NBA level. We're going to get a FA at Center most likely and I hope Guillermo Diaz and Brandon Roy/Rudy Gay in the draft.
