http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-lakers-nba-draft25-2009jun25,0,3742544.story lol Finally work the phones, get it done Mitch. Some team will get suckered into his "potential."
Ammo and Farmar expiring, and a first round pick we don't want. That should be worth something right? Let's go Mitch, keep searching! Good luck. :O
It's going to be tough to get a deal done if the Lakers can't find a taker by the end of the draft. Most teams are reluctant to trade after the draft because they want to see what their new players can do before they make any new decisions.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Toronto takes a chance on Farmar. However, what you'll get back is the problem.
The Lakers want no part of Banks (does anyone for that matter?). Not happening. Not on Mitchell's watch.
Some crack heads speculation: http://forums.lakersground.net/viewtopic.php?t=92494 Farmar to the Hawks? What can we get from them?
I would trade him for cash. I really don't like him. Clear up some salary, get him off the roster, more playing time for Shannon. Use the vets minimum then to sign a veteran PG.
The Hawks already traded with the Warriors to acquire Jamal Crawford. They have no need for Farmar. I wouldn't mind swapping him for Flip Murray, but Hawks are likely done dealing. You know who could actually benefit from Farmar is Orlando. He's perfect for their offensive schemes and a viable backup for Nelson.
Well I liked what he did against Brooks, that's about it though. :[ Will it be that hard to trade our expirings after the draft?
